FEED creates products that engage people in the fight against hunger. Every bag purchased feeds a child in school for one year.
At the heart of FEED info is the enduring principle that people’s choices about what they wear and buy have the power to change the world.
After witnessing first hand the injustices of hunger, Founder Lauren Bush created FEED with the simple idea of creating products that would engage people in the fight against hunger in a tangible way. Each product is stamped with a number, which signifies the amount of meals or micronutrient packets provided to children in need with each purchase.
Products are made by local artisans in areas of Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Kenya and Peru to improve sustainable livelihoods in underserved populations. The meals are provided in the areas that the products are made. Research shows that when meals are provided at school, attendance doubles and performance greatly improves. Girls with just a few years of education have fewer children, have them later in life, and are better prepared to take care and educate them.
You can help the fight against hunger, by purchasing products that help feed the world.
